We are currently recruiting a **Financial Controller with Portuguese** to join a technology company specializing in software development and enterprise management solutions, with an international presence and a significant growth plan. We seek a candidate with experience in financial control, financial consolidation, and economic analysis, who also possesses knowledge of **Portuguese accounting and tax regulations**, to support group entities and contribute to optimizing financial processes. ##### **What will you do?** You will join the corporate finance department, participating in monitoring and controlling the financial information of various group companies. Your key responsibilities will include: * Reviewing the month-end closing processes of different group entities. * Preparing and supervising financial consolidation. * Identifying variances, incidents, and potential errors in financial information. * Analyzing financial statements and proposing corrective actions. * Monitoring and controlling cash flow, working capital, and profitability across business lines. * Preparing and monitoring the annual budget and periodic forecasts. * Developing, implementing, and improving internal control procedures. * Analyzing and monitoring cost centers and operational expenses. * Preparing financial reports and management dashboards for senior leadership. * Coordinating with Portuguese subsidiaries and supporting matters related to Portuguese financial and tax regulations. * Participating in initiatives to improve and optimize financial processes. ##### **What we offer** * Indefinite contract directly with the end client. * Variable compensation scheme. * Hybrid work model: **2 days in the office and 3 days remote**. * Working hours: * 2 days per week: 8:00–14:00 and 15:00–18:30. * 3 days per week: 8:00–15:00. * Personalized career development plan. * English classes by proficiency level. * Health insurance and wellness programs. * Excellent working environment. * Opportunity to join an innovative, continuously evolving technology company. * Collaborative environment where people are the key to success. * Equal opportunity and professional development policy. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Business Studies, or similar. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in Financial Controller, Audit, or Management Control roles. * Experience in financial consolidation. * Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. * Advanced Excel skills. * Proficiency in Office 365\. * English level B2 or higher. * Professional-level Portuguese. * Knowledge of Portuguese accounting and tax regulations. * Strong analytical capability and attention to detail. ##### **Highly desirable** * Prior experience in financial auditing. * Experience in multinational environments or corporate groups. * Involvement in international consolidation processes. * Familiarity with BI tools and data analysis. * MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Management Control, or Financial Management.
