Job Summary: We are seeking a station assistant for the train station in Alicante, responsible for maintaining order, supporting travelers, managing access, controlling signage, and assisting people with special needs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assisting and guiding travelers at the train station. 2. Managing access and controlling signage. 3. Assisting people with special needs. This position is offered at a train station in Alicante and is intended for individuals holding a disability certificate of 33% or higher (or recognized incapacity). Duties include maintaining order and supporting travelers, facilitating entry and exit to platforms, managing barriers and security elements, and monitoring signage and wayfinding materials throughout the premises. The role also involves orienting users, managing waiting queues, and directing people to various services. The assistant collaborates in surveillance efforts to prevent unauthorized access to construction zones, using megaphones or other devices to organize passenger flows. Additionally, cleanliness and proper placement of furniture, waste bins, and trolleys are supervised. A key aspect is assisting people with special needs during their passage through areas under renovation. Finally, incidents are reported to the supervisor, and support is provided to ensure smooth center operations amid construction-related situations. A disability certificate of 33% or higher (or recognized incapacity) is mandatory. A medium level of English or French is required. Prior experience in similar roles will be valued.
