You will design scalable solutions aligned with the functional and technical requirements of each vehicle model, ensuring their quality, performance, and integration with the vehicle’s software ecosystem. **What responsibilities will you have?** * Design the HMI software architecture, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and compatibility with various screen types and functionalities. * Create technical diagrams representing interactions among modules, data flows, and system components. * Lead continuous improvement of the HMI system through testing, performance analysis, and adoption of new technologies. * Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies, escalating critical issues when necessary. * Document the architecture and software modules to facilitate collaboration among development, validation, and integration teams. * Evaluate the technical feasibility of new requirements and estimate implementation effort. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (UX, backend, integration, validation) to ensure coherent and efficient implementation. * Report on the status of the architecture and project progress to technical and product stakeholders. **What qualifications do we expect?** **Education**: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field. **Languages**: Advanced English; German is a plus. **Technical knowledge**: * HMI interface development. * Android Platform. * Programming languages: Kotlin. * Plugin development and automation of workflows. * Development and CI/CD tools: testing (Unit test), SDK, Jetpack, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Bamboo. * Agile project management: JIRA, Confluence. * UI design: Figma. **Experience:** * AAOS (Android Automotive Operating System) experience preferred. * Minimum 2–3 years in software development or architecture. * Experience in HMI systems within the automotive industry or similar sectors is highly valued. **Key competencies**: Teamwork, analytical thinking, proactivity, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
