We are currently seeking a **Kitchen Supervisor in Catering** to join the Gastrofira department. **What will you do?** The selected candidate will be responsible, under the direct supervision of the event setup manager, for ensuring and verifying the proper operation of catering services, as well as the facilities and contracted services for various congresses. **Main responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise the implementation of all operational aspects of catering and kitchen services during fairs, congresses, and events, ensuring their correct execution according to the guidelines of Gastrofira and Fira Barcelona. * Ensure proper management and control of assigned resources (materials, personnel, and food), optimizing them to guarantee service efficiency and quality. * Lead and coordinate the activities of kitchen, setup, and service teams, ensuring smooth communication with other involved departments (event setup, logistics, cleaning, maintenance, etc.). * Establish and maintain operational relationships with suppliers and external collaborators, ensuring timeliness, quality, and suitability of contracted supplies and services. * Coordinate internal actions with other areas to ensure process consistency and proper execution of each event. * Supervise compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational risk prevention protocols, ensuring the maintenance of kitchen facilities and equipment. * Monitor quality and customer satisfaction indicators, proposing operational improvements to optimize the gastronomic experience of events. **Who are we looking for?** * Qualification in **Vocational Training Level 1 or 2 in Cooking, Bachelor’s Degree in Gastronomy, Culinary Sciences, or equivalent qualification.** * Completion of Bachelor's Degree or Master's between 2022/2025. * **NO** prior work experience under a training contract. * Experience in roles related to the position offered is valued. **What do we offer?** * Joining a leading institution with high-impact projects. * Collaborative and innovative environment with cross-functional teams. * Flexible working hours. * Continuous training, social benefits, free parking, cafeteria.
