Production Operator
The main objective of this position is to perform paint manufacturing tasks following specified procedures and instructions, using tools and machinery safely, to fulfill customer orders with the highest quality standards and within established timeframes and cost targets. Also report any potential issues to the Supervisor and/or Team Leader.
About the position
Prepare required raw materials and verify the proper condition of machinery and tools; report/request resolution for any anomalies.
Manufacture products according to recipes and production processes defined for formulas to meet the daily production plan.
Monitor processes ensuring correct application of methods and machines per SOPs, toolbox talks, check\-lists, etc.
Package products following recipes and packaging processes defined for formulas.
Perform correct product labeling.
Carry out pre\-quality controls ensuring proper execution of batches as described during manufacturing or in SOPs.
Close formulas following established procedures.
Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as described in machine SOPs.
Ensure 5S compliance in the production zone and areas according to established standards.
Report any HSE, Quality, Production, etc. incidents to the Supervisor/Team Leader.
Collaborate in conducting PGRs (5 Whys).
Conduct raw material inventories to ensure adequate stock levels in the production area.
Participate in Gemba Walks and carry out NMs and BBS.
Comply fully with all plant regulations and procedures related to HSE\&S, Quality, and Environment.
**Specific HSE\&S responsibilities:**
Lead by example and access the workplace in a physically and mentally sound condition without impairments that would hinder safe performance of assigned tasks, as well as maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Be aware of, trained on, and comply with all HSE\&S requirements when performing assigned tasks across any site facility, understanding the disciplinary consequences of non\-compliance with HSE\&S standards.
Collaborate and participate in all available initiatives, procedures, and actions aimed at preventing incidents/accidents involving any person present at company facilities.
About you
Vocational training (FP) or vocational education cycles preferred. Chemical plant operator experience preferred.
Minimum two years’ experience as a production operator in the chemical/industrial sector recommended.
Proficiency in the local language.
Residence within the region.
Computer literacy.
