Job Summary: Bioinformatician to collaborate with R&D, data science, and innovation teams in formulation design and biological understanding. Key Responsibilities: 1. A chemical company based in Gavà is seeking a Bioinformatician with a disability certificate. CERTIFICATE IS MANDATORY. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, or Biochemistry. Permanent contract, flexible schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00–17:00 (2 hours break). Salary: €2,667 gross per month, paid in 14 installments. - Collaborate with R&D, data science, and innovation teams to accelerate formulation design, deepen biological understanding, and open new opportunities in materials and life sciences. - Create and manage virtual chemical libraries by integrating public molecular databases with proprietary collections relevant to cosmetic active ingredients and natural products. - Model cellular receptors related to the skin using tools such as AlphaFold and protein refinement workflows to identify binding sites and biologically relevant interaction regions. - Prepare ligands for computational studies, including protonation state assignment, force field selection, and generation of 3D conformations for molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD). - Apply MD simulations to refine docking conformations, study binding modes, and identify energetically favorable conformations. - Support the design of active ingredient libraries on synthetic, biotechnological, and botanical platforms. * Experience: 24 months. - In industry applying computational sciences. - Experience in creating or managing virtual chemical libraries. - Practical experience with protein modeling tools such as AlphaFold. * University degree - Biochemistry * University degree - Biology * Spanish (spoken: Basic, written: Basic) * English (spoken: Advanced, written: Advanced) * Competencies / Knowledge: Preferred: Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: 2667
