Temporary until 01/09/2026 Description of the position At Progetic, we are an engineering company specialized in the design and execution of building installations. We develop high-level projects in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, with a strong commitment to building electrification, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. We are currently experiencing growth and seeking to incorporate a Project Engineer for Building Installations and Renewable Energy to join our technical office. We are looking for a candidate with a solid technical background, strong organizational skills, and motivation to grow professionally within the building installations sector. What will be your mission? You will join our technical office and participate in the design and development of building installation projects — from initial definition and calculation phases through to construction supervision and commissioning. You will collaborate closely with other engineering team members, the operations department, architects, clients, technical supervisors, and industrial stakeholders to develop efficient, accurately sized, and project-specific technical solutions. Main responsibilities: * Develop building installation projects. * Perform calculations and sizing of installations: electricity, HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, sanitation, telecommunications, control systems, and home automation. * Prepare drawings, schematics, technical reports, measurements, and other project documentation. * Apply current regulations in the design of installations. * Coordinate installations with architecture, structural engineering, and other project disciplines. * Participate in project meetings with clients, architects, and other stakeholders. * Conduct site visits and technical supervision of constructed projects. * Carry out energy certifications and other studies related to energy efficiency. Requirements * Qualification: Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree. * Preferred qualifications: \- Knowledge of CTE, RITE, REBT, and other relevant installation regulations. + Experience in calculation and sizing of thermal and electrical installations. + Knowledge of photovoltaic and aerothermal installations. + Experience in building energy certification. + Knowledge of home automation, control systems, or PLCs. + Experience in construction supervision or management. + Familiarity with calculation and simulation tools for installations. + Intermediate level of English. * Requirements: 1–3 years of experience in building installation projects is preferred; however, candidates with less experience but strong technical foundations and growth potential will also be considered. We welcome both junior engineers seeking specialization in installations and experienced professionals capable of progressively assuming greater autonomy in project development and management. * Essential: \- Knowledge of main building installations. + Ability to interpret and produce drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. + Interest in the building installations, energy efficiency, and renewable energy sectors. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Fluency in Catalan and Spanish. * Additional requirements: \- Valid driver's license (Class B) and personal vehicle. + Immediate availability. + Residence near the workplace.
