Support people in their job search and career development **MAIS Program Employment Counselor** **For the center located in the town of Tortosa** **Fundació Gentis** is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing **employability** and fostering **competency-based, emotional, and social development** among the most disadvantaged groups. At Gentis, we drive the gears toward achieving **full social inclusion**, through community action, training, mentoring, mediation, family support, and psychological and therapeutic intervention. ##### **As an Employment Counselor at Gentis...** You will have the opportunity to: **Carry out actions aimed at facilitating the labor market integration of unemployed individuals** * Conduct diagnostics, provide information, personalized counseling, and advice * Motivate and accompany individuals throughout their labor integration process * Promote training initiatives to improve their employability * Support individuals facing difficulties in securing employment * Develop their employability and facilitate both entry into and retention within the workplace ##### **What will you be responsible for?** * **Welcoming participants**, including individual and group activities, occupational diagnosis, and identification of competencies * **Promoting labor market integration and job retention**, by defining professional objectives and individualized pathways, and accompanying job searches * **Mediating between supply and demand**, maintaining relationships with companies, identifying suitable job offers, and managing internships and visits to productive environments * **Evaluating employability improvement pathways**, through personalized follow-up, program indicators, and satisfaction assessments * **Management and coordination**, including activity registration, report preparation, and coordination with local teams and stakeholders * **Cross-cutting tasks**, supporting other programs, fostering internal synergies, and collaborating in activity dissemination **Competency Profile** * Learning and applying knowledge * Emotional management * Communication * Self-organization and planning * Creativity * Teamwork ##### **What are the requirements?** Minimum qualification: Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in the Social Sector, or a degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, or Psychopedagogy Alternatively, minimum 5 years of experience in employment counseling Knowledge of the local area Experience in employment counseling programs and management tools (Galileu) The staff involved in counseling and labor prospecting must receive gender perspective training to ensure labor integration free from sexist stereotypes and aligned with the competency-based employability model.
