Processing information on species mortality **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Graduate or Technical Engineer to support electrical line installation projects in the Community of Madrid **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid Field inspections of electrical lines throughout Spain and office-based data preparation and processing in Madrid. **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Conducting field work to quantify impacts of electrical lines * Reviewing and measuring the effectiveness of corrective measures and processing related data * Processing information on species mortality and technical characteristics of electrical supports: standardization and cleaning, digitization * Supporting other project-related activities concerning mortality associated with electrical lines **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any time during the process the supporting documents for the data declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the curriculum vitae, whenever such information is necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for the advertised position. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold a degree in Technical Forestry Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry and Natural Environment Engineering, Biology, or Environmental Sciences (MECES Level 2\) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Previous Experience** * At least 6 months of professional and/or academic experience in monitoring electrical lines ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish Class B driving license * Availability to travel across Spain (up to 50% of working time) **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Languages** * English Level: C1 ### **Previous Experience** * From 1 year to 4 years of experience in monitoring electrical lines (professional and/or academic) * From 3 months to 1 year of experience in wildlife monitoring activities (professional and/or academic) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel (to be verified during technical assessment) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in QGIS (to be verified during technical assessment) * Knowledge of vertebrate identification and/or recognition (to be verified during technical assessment) **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months, with possible extension if applicable, respecting the maximum duration limits established by current labor legislation for each contractual modality.
