The primary mission of the External Communication Technician is to support the company's external communication strategy and execution, aiming to position the brand, generate awareness, strengthen relationships with key target audiences, and protect PortAventura World's reputation—ensuring a consistent image aligned with the resort's values. Key responsibilities include: * Support the design and execution of the external communication plan, including organic and branded content for each business line of the resort (theme parks, hotels, PortAventura Business \& Events, PortAventura Foundation, innovation, sustainability…), under the guidance and supervision of the responsible manager. * Collaborate in the execution of campaigns, product launches, and events. * Support the design and execution of ad-hoc strategies and tactical actions in response to unplanned or unforeseen issues. * Propose new communication opportunities arising from the company’s own dynamics. * Support the planning of press visits to the resort and accompany filming crews. * Manage and maintain relationships with local, regional, national, and international media outlets. * Draft and prepare press releases, audiovisual materials, press dossiers, and other corporate materials in accordance with departmental guidelines. * Support the management and maintenance of relationships with major PortAventura World fan communities. * Monitor public perception of the resort and track relevant news and conversations concerning the company. * Monitor media outlets daily, identify potential risks or topics of interest, and report them to the department head. * Collaborate in executing initiatives aimed at reinforcing or improving the company’s image and reputation. * Coordinate and manage, under supervision, communication content and requirements with product teams, social media, marketing, and internal communication departments. Requirements PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1\-2 years’ experience in communications, preferably in roles related to external communication, media relations, or communications agencies. Experience in corporations, agencies, or media organizations will be valued. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES * Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Audiovisual Communication, or related field. Additional training in corporate communication is desirable. * Languages: Catalan, Spanish, and English—both spoken and written. French is a plus. * Knowledge of and/or experience in media relations and corporate communication. * Familiarity with media monitoring and tracking tools. Offer Substitution contract.
