Within this context, the position of EARLY INTERVENTION TEACHER (AUDITORY-VERBAL AND SPEECH THERAPY) is open for AFANIAS’ Early Intervention and Comprehensive Support Service. Position Mission: The speech therapist would join a multidisciplinary team, supporting the center’s speech therapist and delivering services within natural environments. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ? Assessment and intervention for learning, speech, language, feeding, and communication disorders. ? Development of treatment plans, as well as monitoring and reporting. ? Individual and group treatment sessions. ? Creation of specific communication materials. ? Implementation of AACs. ? Coordination with tutors and other professionals to monitor interventions. ? Coordination and follow-up with families. ? Required qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education specializing in Auditory-Verbal and Language, or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy. ? Minimum one year of experience in intervention for learning difficulties, intellectual disability, and AACs. ? Positive and constructive attitude. ? Strong work capacity, demonstrating proactivity and autonomy. ? Social sensitivity and interest in social causes, especially disability. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE VALUED: Specialization in Therapeutic Pedagogy Experience working with adults with intellectual disability Experience administering standardized assessment tools Experience in assessment and intervention with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Myofunctional therapy Atypical swallowing. **Profile:** Required qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education with specialization in Auditory-Verbal and Language, plus Therapeutic Pedagogy. Proficiency in pictogram-based tools.
