Job Summary: The Formulator I is responsible for creating new product formulas, balancing technical constraints, cost, and raw material usage. Key Highlights: 1. Creation of new product formulas. 2. This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures. **PURPOSE AND WORK IMPACT** ------------------------------------- The Formulator I is responsible for creating new formulas in accordance with agreed product matrices using cost-formulation software for all production runs at the factory, balancing sufficient technical constraints, formulation cost, and raw material usage in alignment with the supply chain plan. The Formulator I will be key to serving our production plant with all relevant data and supporting our production facilities with all matters related to the product database, such as bill of materials, labeling, and product documentation. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Formulate and ensure products are manufactured in accordance with applicable requirements and specifications. * Update formulation software with available raw material data, information retrieval from relevant sources, and report generation. * Perform daily formula maintenance in accordance with plant and customer needs. * Process formulation documents in accordance with defined procedures. * Continuously develop ingredient knowledge. * Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel. * Support sales in understanding and resolving basic customer incidents following established processes. * Other duties as assigned. #LI-AMORALES #LI-Hybrid **QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. * Additional minimum qualifications may apply.
