Position Summary: We are seeking an Engineer, Bachelor's or Graduate Degree holder + Official Master's Degree to support railway infrastructures, conduct component and GIS functionality testing, integrate digital maps and positioning systems, and manage technical projects. Participation in European R&D&i projects **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Engineer, Bachelor's or Graduate Degree holder + Official Master's Degree to provide support for railway infrastructures at Tragsatec’s Madrid office. **Work Location** -------------------- * Tragsatec Madrid Office **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Application of formalized testing processes in controlled environments. * Conducting tests on new components and integrated functionalities of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) applied to pilot railway lines and onboard equipment. * Integration of georeferenced digital maps of railway lines. * Integration and acceptance testing of satellite positioning systems in test benches. * Execution of validation processes on digital platforms for intermediate virtual certifications applicable to future commissioning authorizations of railway lines and onboard equipment. * Supporting coordination with Digitalization, Command & Control, and Signaling departments to introduce project data into test benches. * Technical and documentation management of railway technical projects. * Participation in European R&D&i (Research, Development and Innovation) projects. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by undergoing assessment tests and/or by attaching the required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the application questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any time during the process the supporting documents for the information declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the candidate’s CV, whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for the advertised position. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold an Engineering degree; or a Bachelor’s/Technical Engineering degree + Official Master’s in Engineering; or a Bachelor’s/Licentiate degree + Official Master’s in Physics or Mathematics (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Prior Experience** * At least 1 year of professional and/or academic experience related to characterization of digital and georeferenced maps of linear infrastructures (to be verified during technical assessment) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Immediate availability to join (within a maximum of 15 days from notification in case of selection) **Merit Criteria (Assessable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Additional training in Railway Control, Command and/or Signaling ### **Prior Experience** * From 2 to 4 years of experience related to characterization of digital and georeferenced maps of linear infrastructures (professional and/or academic experience) (to be verified during technical assessment) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Knowledge of the ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) signaling system language (to be verified during technical assessment) * Proficiency in using GNSS HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulators (to be verified during technical assessment) * Participation in at least one railway R&D&i project (to be verified during technical assessment) * Proficiency in GIS software and/or photogrammetry-based reconstruction software for generating point clouds and 3D meshes (to be verified during technical assessment) * Eligibility to formalize a training contract for acquiring professional practice associated with the qualification required in this vacancy (for this purpose, no more than 3 years must have elapsed since completion of the qualification, or 5 years if a disability certificate is provided; nor may a prior training contract of this type associated with the same qualification have been executed for longer than 6 months) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months, with possible extension if applicable, respecting the maximum duration limits established by current labor legislation for each contractual modality.
