You are open to learning from more experienced engineers and are willing to take on increasing responsibility as your skills develop. **A Day in the Life** On a typical day you will implement and support software test and validation activities for highly integrated Radio Integrated Circuit (IC) and System\-on\-Chip (SoC) products using C, C\#, Python and other languages. Your daily work will require collaboration with engineers from multiple hardware and software disciplines to ensure software is tested thoroughly to meet quality expectations. With guidance from senior engineers, you will contribute to developing and executing tests that support delivery of reliable, well‑validated software solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and execute embedded software tests under established SQA test strategies. * Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression tests using Python and C\#. * Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub. * Execute system‑level and integration tests on embedded software running on SoCs, ICs, and reference platforms.. * Follow established coding, testing, and documentation standards. * Collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware engineers to understand test requirements and investigate issues. * Assist with debugging and root‑cause analysis of software and test failures. * Gain familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) and high‑speed converter systems and associated lab equipment. * Develop working knowledge of test frameworks over time. * Contribute to continuous improvement of software test processes and practices. **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor of Engineering degree or higher in electrical, electronics, computer science or a related field. * 2\-4 years of experience in embedded software development or testing. * Proven record of successful product delivery with hands\-on approach. * Hands\-on experience with C\#, Python and C. * Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and Process Management Tools, including but not limited to: JIRA, Git, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins. * Basic experience with IC hardware and test equipment: PCB, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Supply. * Exposure to automated testing, unit testing, or regression testing. * Exposure to DevOps concepts such as CI/CD using Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and familiarity with containerization or infrastructure tools. * Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and set priorities to deliver on schedule. * Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn. **Differentiating Qualifications** * Exposure to embedded systems, device drivers, or hardware/software integration. * Familiarity with PyTest, NUnit, or similar test frameworks. * Basic understanding of RF systems, high‑speed converters, or Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts. * Experience supporting CI/CD workflows. * Interest in software quality standards and best practices. * Strong debugging aptitude and attention to detail. *For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce \- Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State \- Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
