




In our traditional Japanese tavern in the center of Fuengirola, we are looking for a sushi chef assistant with a passion for Japanese cuisine, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn the art of sushi. You will be part of a small team dedicated to offering an authentic experience based on respect for ingredients, technique, and Japanese hospitality (omotenashi). Main responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation of sushi and cold dishes. * Cleaning, cutting, and basic preparation of fish and vegetables. * Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area. * Assisting the head chef in daily kitchen tasks. * Compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. Requirements: * Previous kitchen experience (preferably in Japanese or Asian cuisine). * Interest in learning traditional sushi techniques. * Responsibility, punctuality, and good teamwork attitude. * Valid work permit. * Basic knowledge of Japanese or English is a plus.
