In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions while implementing and optimizing business processes using **Camunda 8**. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality software that meets business needs. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using **Java** and **Spring Boot**. * Design and implement business workflows using **Camunda 8 BPMN**. * Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. * Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to software architecture decisions. * Write clean, maintainable, and well\-documented code following engineering best practices. * Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality. * Participate actively in code reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and Agile ceremonies. * Refine user stories and technical requirements with the development team. * Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. * Work with partner technology teams to ensure seamless integration across systems. * Mentor and coach junior developers. * Support software releases while ensuring quality, scope, and delivery expectations are met. * Prepare technical documentation and present new features, components, and technical solutions. **Qualifications** * Minimum **3 years of professional experience** as a **Java Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8**. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). * Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as **JIRA** and **Confluence**. * English proficiency at **C1 level** or above (written and spoken). **Technical Skills** **Required** * Strong experience with **Camunda 8**, including designing and implementing BPMN processes. * Advanced knowledge of **Java 11\+**. * Strong expertise in: + Spring Boot + Spring MVC + Spring Data JPA + Spring Cloud Config * Solid understanding of Object\-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. * Experience designing and developing **microservices** and **service\-oriented architectures**. * Strong knowledge of **RESTful APIs**. * Experience with automated testing frameworks such as: + JUnit + Mockito + Cucumber * Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools. * Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). * Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies. **Nice to Have** * Experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of **Elasticsearch**, **Kibana**, or other NoSQL databases. * Spanish language skills. **Additional Information** * **Remote within Spain** * Possibility to manage work permits. * Permanent, full\-time contract. * Smart Office Pack so that you can work comfortably from home. * Training and career development. * Benefits and perks such as **private medical insurance**, life insurance, Language lessons, etc * Possibility to be part of a multicultural team and work on international projects. **If you are passionate about development \& tech, we want to meet you!** Talan Spain’s commitment to non\-discrimination based on gender, race, ideology, or any other reason, in accordance with the company’s "Equality Plan" and the current regulations on gender equality between women and men (Royal Decree\-Law 6/2019\).
