Description

The position involves assembling and integrating mechanical and hydraulic equipment on vessels, performing assemblies according to detailed technical drawings. Precision in each adjustment, correct component installation, and the ability to interpret specific documentation are required. Work is carried out in shipyards and specialized workshops, participating in vessel construction and outfitting phases. This role is essential for final commissioning, verifying that each mechanism meets required quality and safety standards. Solid knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics, along with application of occupational risk prevention protocols, is valued. Furthermore, compatibility and collective performance of installed systems are supervised, identifying any anomalies during the process for prompt reporting. This proactive approach helps maintain project timelines and ensures long-term reliability of naval machinery. The work environment promotes continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and working methods within the sector. The position offers a temporary contract with continuous working hours under rotating morning and afternoon shifts, facilitating work-life balance. Continuous professional training is provided, along with special conditions for occasional travel related to projects outside the usual work environment. A minimum of one year’s experience in similar roles is required, preferably within the naval sector. A medium or higher-level vocational qualification in maintenance, electromechanics, or naval machinery is mandatory. A medium level of English proficiency—especially technical English—is required, as well as certified occupational risk prevention training for operating forklifts and overhead cranes, plus specific shipyard training.
