Marina Lanzarote – Arrecife (Lanzarote) At Marina Lanzarote, we are seeking to hire a Service Assistant to join our Maritime Operations team. We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and proactive individual. Extensive experience in the nautical sector is not required; however, candidates must have a genuine interest in the sea, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a strong willingness to learn. Responsibilities * Assist with vessel mooring and unmooring operations. * Customer service at the marina's fuel supply station. * Periodic surveillance and inspection of docked vessels. * Basic cleaning and maintenance of jetties, facilities, and common areas. * Support in maintaining the marina's shopping center and other facilities. * Reporting incidents and collaborating with other team members. Requirements Mandatory * Sufficient English proficiency to serve international customers. * Good physical condition to perform the duties of the position. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Responsibility, punctuality, and a proactive attitude. Desirable * Experience in maritime operations or maintenance. * Basic knowledge of the nautical sector or vessel handling. * Recreational nautical certifications. * Additional languages, especially French. * Basic knowledge of maintenance, electricity, plumbing, or minor repairs. Conditions * Indefinite-term contract. * Full-time employment. * Immediate start date. * If the selected candidate is currently employed, we can accommodate the necessary notice period before commencement. * Rotating shifts between 08:00 and 20:00\. * Work on weekends and public holidays according to the schedule. * Two days off per week. * Public holidays worked are compensated with days off. * 30 calendar days of vacation per year. * Annual review of salary conditions. * Gross annual salary corresponding to the current Interprofessional Minimum Wage (SMI).
