Position Summary: We are seeking a sports writer to create content, perform voice-overs, edit audiovisual material, and update web content, with proven experience in sports journalism. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sports content writing and voice-over for television 2. Editing and preparation of audiovisual pieces for broadcast 3. Updating web and teletext content A sports writer with a university degree in Communication Sciences, Journalism, or a related field is required to work in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The main duties include researching, selecting, writing, and performing voice-overs for content, as well as editing and preparing audiovisual pieces and reports for television broadcast. The role also involves updating content on websites and teletext, pre-selecting archival material, and producing necessary written work for programs, news, or reports. Knowledge of television editing and post-production, as well as proficiency in foreign languages, will be considered advantageous. Proven experience and demonstrated interest in sports journalism are essential. The contract will be offered under production-related circumstances, full-time, with commencement scheduled upon completion of the selection process.
