You will join an agile team where code quality and collaboration are paramount. ### **Purpose of the Role** The **Odoo Technical Consultant** will be the cornerstone responsible for transforming business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. Their primary objective is to lead **development, customization, and integration** across the Odoo ecosystem, ensuring code integrity and technical optimization of the platform to maximize its performance. ### **Responsibilities** Development and Customization * + **Core Customization:** Develop and customize Odoo modules in **Python**, aligned with defined functional requirements. + **Technical Architecture:** Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and adhere to Odoo framework standards. Integration and Automation * + **API Connectivity:** Implement integrations with **external APIs** (REST/XML-RPC) to connect Odoo with other ecosystems. + **Process Optimization:** Design automations and technical enhancements to streamline client operations. Quality and Lifecycle Management * + **Technical QA:** Guarantee delivery success through **testing**, code reviews, and version control using **Git**. + **Deployment Environments:** Manage development and production environments using tools such as **Docker**. Collaboration and Analysis * + **Technical Analysis:** Collaborate with the functional team to define new features and ensure their technical feasibility. + **Traceability:** Document code and maintain a clear record of changes to ensure project continuity. ### **Required Competencies and Skills** Technological Expertise * + **Proficiency in Python:** Solid backend development experience, preferably within the Odoo ecosystem. + **Data Management:** Advanced knowledge of **PostgreSQL**, query optimization, and database modeling. Full-Stack & Interface * + **Odoo Frontend:** Expert handling of **XML** for views and **JavaScript** for interface customization (OWL/JS). + **Service Consumption:** Ability to efficiently integrate and consume **REST APIs**. Autonomy and Delivery * + **Time Management:** Capacity to work independently while strictly adhering to *timings* and deliverables. + **Results-Oriented Mindset:** Focus on resolving complex technical challenges with pragmatic solutions. Collaborative Mindset * + **Continuous Learning:** Interest in staying up-to-date with new Odoo versions and emerging technologies. + **Functional Synergy:** Ability to collaborate effectively with systems engineers and functional consultants in a dynamic environment. ### **Experience and Education** Academic Background * + **Technical Degree:** Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Engineering** (or equivalent). + **Specialization:** In-depth knowledge of Odoo’s internal architecture and its ORM. ️ Development Tools * + **DevOps & Git:** Advanced use of **Git** for version control and foundational understanding of **Docker** for container management. + **Agile Methodologies:** Experience working under frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
