The selected candidate will work with programmable lighting systems, low-vibration motors, and optical surfaces to produce works that respond to their environment or to viewers. Responsibilities include conceptual design of luminal pieces, assembly of movable mechanisms, programming of light sequences, stability and fluidity testing, technical documentation, installation in exhibition spaces, and collaboration with engineers and curators. Aesthetic sensitivity, technical precision, and the ability to transform optical phenomena into living art will be highly valued. We seek creative, detail-oriented professionals passionate about the interaction between light and motion.
