This role involves advanced backend development, cloud environment deployment, analysis during integration and production phases, code reviews, technical support, and continuous collaboration with international teams—particularly in Munich. We seek a candidate with strong technical expertise, excellent English communication skills, and experience working in agile environments. #### **Responsibilities** * Develop backend components using **Spring Boot**, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality architectures. * Build, deploy, and monitor software in **cloud clusters**, resolving incidents during integration and production. * Design and develop **REST APIs**, and participate in event-driven architectures using **Apache Kafka**. * Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine requirements, estimate user stories, and define comprehensive technical solutions. * Review team code, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices. * Document features and present developments in review sessions. * Actively participate in agile environments (Scrum/SAFe), contributing to continuous improvement and technical excellence. * Coordinate closely with multicultural and distributed teams. #### **Requirements** * **Fluent C1 English** (daily communication with international team). * Solid experience with: + **Java 17\+** + **Spring Boot** (Security, Data JPA, Cloud) + Design and implementation of **REST APIs**, OpenAPI + **Microservices** architecture + **Apache Kafka** + SQL and **MongoDB** + **Kubernetes** and Helm + CI/CD with **Jenkins** + SonarQube + Selenium or TAF (as per project) + AWS + IntelliJ, GitHub, Jira, Confluence * Minimum **3 years in Agile teams** (Scrum / SAFe). #### **Desirable** * Knowledge of Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack. * Advanced Helm Charts. * Workflow/orchestration engines such as **Camunda**. * GitHub Actions or other advanced pipelines. * Experience in the insurance sector. * Strong understanding of *clean code*, pair programming, and automation practices. #### **Conditions** * Location: **Barcelona**. * Work mode: Hybrid (**40% onsite / 60% remote**). * Availability for occasional travel to **Munich** (approximately every 3 months). * Stable, international project leveraging state-of-the-art technologies. **Company** Joining THEWHITEAM means collaborating with a company composed of professionals possessing extensive experience in technology consulting.
