You will act as a technical reference for the team, take ownership of backend architecture, improve code quality and engineering standards, and help drive a more mature, engineering‑focused culture. You will work on a SaaS platform built on .NET 10, running primarily on Azure PaaS, in an international, English\-speaking environment. **Responsibilities** * Design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems. * Lead backend development efforts, driving technical design and architectural decisions. * Be a technical reference for the team also support and mentor other engineers * Own the full software lifecycle—from concept and design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. * Work across modern and legacy systems * Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end\-to\-end solutions. * Champion engineering excellence by promoting best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, testing strategies). * Architect and implement distributed systems and event\-driven solutions. * Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable delivery. * Ensure system reliability, performance, and observability in production environments. * Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance. * Contribute to technical documentation and ensure knowledge is shared effectively across the team. **Qualifications** * 7\+ years of experience in backend development, primarily with .NET / C\#. * Strong experience designing scalable and maintainable systems. * Deep understanding of software engineering principles (Clean Architecture, Domain\-Driven Design (DDD), unit/integration testing). * Hands\-on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs. * Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM tools such as Entity Framework Core. * Experience with distributed or service\-oriented architectures. * Experience integrating authentication and authorization solutions (e.g., Auth0\) * Strong knowledge of asynchronous communication patterns and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus). * Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. * Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
