Description
The Industrial Maintenance Manager will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing maintenance strategies within a production plant in Sevilla. Their primary objective is to ensure that all equipment and facilities remain available and operate reliably, minimizing unplanned downtime and maximizing resource utilization. To achieve this, they will continuously supervise both production machinery and auxiliary facilities supporting the entire production process.
A key aspect of the role involves managing the technical team, including task assignment, shift scheduling, and promoting continuous training. They must also oversee the spare parts warehouse, ensuring necessary materials are readily available for preventive maintenance and for swiftly resolving any failures that could halt production. Additionally, they will monitor general utilities such as electricity, water, and compressed air.
Finally, this person will ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulations—particularly those concerning hygiene, food safety, and occupational risk prevention. They will prepare performance reports, propose process improvements, and collaborate closely with other departments—including Production and Quality—to align maintenance objectives with the company’s overall goals. The contract is full-time and temporary.
A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required, complemented by in-depth knowledge of industrial maintenance principles. A minimum of five years’ experience performing similar duties in an industrial environment is essential, demonstrating proven competence in technical team management and resolution of complex operational incidents.
