* **Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Senior Project Engineer** ================================================================ SÓLIDA Energías Renovables is seeking a **Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Project Engineer** to join our Operations team. The selected candidate will participate in the technical development of battery-based energy storage projects (BESS), collaborating across all phases including design, permitting, and technical support. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Preparation of projects for Prior Administrative Authorization (AAP) and Construction Administrative Authorization (AAC). * Development of basic and detailed engineering for energy storage projects. * Technical support to clients in equipment selection and sizing. * Research and monitoring of applicable regulations for battery energy storage systems. * Study and analysis of energy storage proposals for co-development projects. * Preparation of proposal engineering and technical documentation. * Collaboration with the R\+D department in developing and improving tools related to energy storage. **Requirements** -------------- * Technical or University Degree in Electrical Engineering. * Knowledge of grid connection applications and access requests for renewable generation plants; drafting of tender documents and technical specifications for equipment procurement; proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, DIgSILENT, ETAP, XGSLAB, CYMCAP, and ArcGIS. **Desirable Qualifications** ------------- * Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS). * Experience in renewable energy projects. * Interest in innovation and technological development applied to the energy sector.
