It certainly is! **What you’ll do:** As a Functional Analyst, you’ll be one of the brains behind the country’s most widely used payroll solution: * You’ll become an expert in our application — diving deep, dissecting it, understanding it, feeling it.• You’ll translate complex payroll logic into crystal-clear user stories and test scenarios. * You’ll work side-by-side with developers and testers, guiding new features. * You’ll serve as a strategic partner to the Product Owner, influencing priorities and decisions. * You’ll track Belgian payroll legislation and translate it into actionable requirements. * You’ll hunt down bugs and resolve tricky issues where others get stuck. * You’ll help build a squad that works autonomously, dares to make decisions, and delivers value. **Short summary?** You’re the one who turns complexity into clarity — and clarity into impact. **Who we’re looking for:** You don’t (yet) need to be a walking payroll encyclopedia. But you must be someone who: * thinks in structures, relationships, and logic * is hungry to learn — a lot, quickly, and enthusiastically * communicates clearly and professionally, in Dutch and English * enjoys playing with tech (JSON, XML, APIs, SQL… or at least has the willingness to dive in) * takes ownership — “not my problem” isn’t in your vocabulary; you take initiative and follow through * thrives in a team that shifts gears quickly, makes decisions collectively, and tolerates no egos * Payroll experience?
