The intern will carry out their training within the **machine tool team** at Siemens' offices in Bilbao, a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. This department works closely with machinery manufacturers from northern Spain, analyzing their needs and designing tailored technological solutions. Training Objectives During the internship period, the trainee will have the opportunity to: **Learn and apply advanced industrial technologies** such as PLC and CNC control systems, industrial communications (Profibus, Profinet), industrial cybersecurity (Sinema RC, VPN tunnels), electrical drives (AC/AC, DC/AC), and motors (synchronous and asynchronous). **Learn how to prepare technical configurations** tailored to different applications (milling, turning, grinding), using Siemens-specific digital tools like Sizer and TIA Selection Tool. **Develop graphical interfaces** using specialized software (WinCC, Easyscreen), acquiring skills in HMI design and adaptation. **Acquire technical analysis and problem-solving skills** in real industrial environments, applying knowledge gained at university. **Encourage teamwork and technical communication**, collaborating with industry professionals and receiving continuous feedback. Mentorship and Follow-up A specialized team tutor will accompany the student throughout the entire process. Specific and measurable learning objectives will be defined from the beginning.
