Job Summary: Ingeteam is seeking an HW Designer for the R&D team of PGA in Zamudio, participating in the design and development of electronic equipment for electrical grid automation. Technological and collaborative R&D work environment. **Ingeteam**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is seeking an **HW Designer** to join the R&D team of the PGA (Power Grid Automation) Business Unit in **Zamudio**. **Mission** Participate in the design and development of electronic equipment for electrical grid automation and protection, collaborating with multidisciplinary firmware, software, and testing teams to bring products from the design phase through to industrialization. **Responsibilities** * Design high-speed analog and digital hardware: architecture definition, component selection, schematic capture, and PCB design rule definition. * Design oriented toward compliance with industry standards (EMC, climatic conditions, safety, etc.) in demanding environments. * Perform analog and digital simulations for design validation. * Manage prototyping and laboratory validation of equipment. * Support industrialization: generation of technical documentation and assistance with production or field issues. * Collaborate with firmware, software, and testing teams during product development. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering, or Physics. * More than 3 years of experience in designing digital and analog electronic circuits. * Experience in digital circuit design: communication buses, microprocessors, memory, FPGAs, etc. * Experience in analog circuit design: power supplies, precision signal acquisition and measurement, etc. * English proficiency level B2 or higher. * We seek a proactive individual with strong learning ability, problem-solving orientation, and excellent teamwork skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in high-speed design (PCIe, DDR, Gigabit Ethernet, QSPI, LVDS). * Knowledge of advanced analog design: high-resolution ADCs, filtering, immunity, and power supply systems. * Experience in PCB routing or routing coordination. * Experience in EMC-compliant designs. * Familiarity with electronic, thermal, or EMC simulation tools. * Experience working with quality standards in hardware development. **What We Offer** * Join a leading technological organization in electrical system automation. * Participate in innovative projects directly contributing to the energy transition. * A technological and collaborative work environment within an R\+D team. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Permanent contract. * Flexible working hours and work-life balance support. * Compensation commensurate with experience.
