Your mission will be... * You will work on **advanced signal processing** for digital inspection systems such as **ultrasonics (UT)** and **eddy currents (EC)**. * You will participate in **applied research projects** for **defect characterization** in manufacturing processes, combining modeling, simulation, experimentation, and advanced data analysis. * You will design and optimize **new sensors and electronic equipment**, using tools such as **CIVA, Python, and Matlab**. * You will collaborate in the **automation of inspection systems**, integrating technologies such as **industrial robots, collaborative robots, and specialized machinery**. * You will develop **automated industrial solutions**, working directly with customers and suppliers—from needs definition to project execution and management. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * **Education:** Higher Engineering / Master's or PhD (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electronics, or Physics). * **Languages:** Advanced level English (Basque will be valued). * **Experience:** Experience in R&D environments and similar roles will be valued. * **Knowledge:** Knowledge in metallic materials, metallurgy, powder metallurgy, structural characterization, mechanics, physics, and material defectology will be valued. Knowledge and certification in non-destructive inspection processes and associated certifications, with special interest in UT technology. Familiarity with design and simulation software, CIVA, CAD\-CAM, FEM, and reverse engineering. Data monitoring and acquisition.
