DESCRIPTION At GP DIGITAL, we are seeking a candidate for an IT sector client. **IT Infrastructure Project Manager** -------------------------------------- Would you like to lead strategic technology infrastructure projects in critical and high-availability environments? We are looking for an **IT Infrastructure Project Manager** with experience in **complex storage, IBM Z, and data governance projects**, capable of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and serving as the primary point of contact for top-tier clients. **Conditions** --------------- * Contract: **Permanent and/or freelance** * Location: **SPAIN** * Mode: REMOTE \>\> Availability for in-person meetings with clients * Working hours: Full-time * Start date: AUGUST 2026 **Your responsibilities** ------------- * **End-to-end leadership of technology infrastructure projects.** * **Coordinate technical teams** and ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and quality. * **Manage communication** with clients and stakeholders, ranging from technical profiles to executive management. * **Plan and oversee projects related to storage, SAN networks, and IBM Z platforms.** * Identify **risks**, propose mitigation plans, and ensure successful implementations. * Coordinate various **data governance initiatives** across clients in different sectors. * Prepare **progress reports** and support decision-making. REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory** ------------------ * Over **5 years of experience** as a Project Manager leading technology infrastructure projects. * Demonstrable experience in: * **IBM FlashSystem** storage. * **IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC)**. * SAN network migrations using **Broadcom** and **Cisco** technologies. * **IBM Z** storage migrations using **TDMF**. * **IBM Z GDPS** solutions. * Data governance projects. * Ability to manage interactions with both technical and executive profiles, including CIOs. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills. * Certification in project management methodologies such as **PMP**, **Scrum Master**, **Agile Project Management**, **CMMI**, or equivalent. * **High proficiency in Spanish and English**, both spoken and written. **Desirable** ------------ * Experience in **mission-critical environments.** * **Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.** * Knowledge of **agile and hybrid methodologies.** * Experience in technology consulting or large organizations.
