Job Summary: We are seeking a Mold Technician to ensure the operation, maintenance, and optimization of molds in an industrial environment. Key Highlights: 1. An industrial-sector company is looking to hire a **Mold Technician** to join its Maintenance and Production department. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and optimization of molds used in manufacturing processes, guaranteeing established quality, safety, and productivity standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds. * Assembly, disassembly, and adjustment of molds on production machines. * Diagnosis and resolution of mechanical failures. * Repair and refurbishment of mold components. * Monitoring and control of mold condition. * Proposal and implementation of improvements to extend equipment service life and enhance performance. * Collaboration with Production and Quality departments * Vocational Training at Intermediate or Advanced Level in Mechanics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance and fitting of injection molds. * Knowledge of mechanical drawing interpretation. * Proficiency in using workshop tools and measuring equipment. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Responsible, organized individual with ability to work effectively in a team. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in zinc injection sector. * Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. * Operation of machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinding machine, etc.). * Knowledge of mold welding and polishing. * Availability to work morning/afternoon shifts.
