ACCIONA, through its Facility Services division, is seeking a Service Manager to cover a vacancy due to leave of absence in the Northern region (Basque Country, Navarre, La Rioja, and Aragon).**Job Description**
Mission:
Collaborate with and support projects carried out by your business unit/department, in accordance with guidelines provided by your supervisor, to improve both decision-making and project execution processes through your work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor compliance with service KPIs agreed upon with the client.
Develop action plans in response to service deviations and document non-conformities when established thresholds are exceeded.
Ensure that waste management activities comply with applicable regulations and with the procedures outlined in the quality management system.
Coordinate service openings and closures according to the procedures established for each case.
Supervise the proper use of relevant service management tools: GIM, CTI, CCH, etc.
Maintain appropriate response times to received requests—for example, responding to clients within 24 hours.
Manage operations in accordance with ACCIONA’s ISO 9001/14001 management systems.
Ensure full compliance with all regulations affecting services under your responsibility.
Thoroughly understand AFS’s contractual obligations toward the client, commensurate with your level of responsibility, and immediately report any deviations to your direct supervisor.
Submit reports to the client as agreed upon, in terms of both timing and format.
Hold periodic meetings with the client, supported by data and conclusions.
Carry out commercial initiatives with existing clients to increase volume, service scope, and/or geographic coverage.
Plan and manage procurement of recurring materials and consumables to guarantee uninterrupted service delivery.
Review material and consumable consumption dashboards, analyze them, ensure budget compliance, and correct potential deviations.
Request subcontracted work as needed.
Report to the Procurement Department regarding supplier satisfaction levels for materials and consumables.
Supervise contractors’ adherence to protective measures defined in the occupational health and safety coordination plan.
Ensure the facility has all necessary equipment, machinery, and tools for proper service execution.
Ensure all workers have up-to-date documentation (contracts, training courses, certifications, medical examinations, access permits, etc.).
Incorporate documentation into the management tree and maintain it fully updated.
Monitor and manage each client’s profit-and-loss accounts in line with their respective budgets and cost breakdowns, ensuring operational profitability.
Carry out monthly pre-closing and closing activities.
Propose continuous improvement initiatives that positively impact the business.
Monitor compliance with productivity KPIs (under development).
Identify improvement opportunities and develop plans to strengthen the capabilities and skills of your management team.
Monitor payroll incident management indicators using available tools.
Verify that daily shift-start meetings are held, including the corresponding follow-up elements.
Conduct periodic follow-up meetings with middle management.
Process personnel-related requests—including hiring, termination, and working-hour adjustments—with the Shared Services Center (CSC), ensuring sufficient resources are available to deliver services.
Analyze absenteeism using available tools and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all workers receive the necessary training to perform their duties effectively.
Conduct on-site random quality checks to verify that completed work meets contractual obligations.
Coordinate appointments with the medical examination team and confirm attendance.
Request, via SN, access credentials for PEP, helmets, telephones, PCs, telephone line activations/deactivations, presence controls, tool access, etc.
Maintain communication with the Labor Relations team to apply disciplinary measures where appropriate.
Create and update the Multiskilling Table (ILUO): associated training plan.
Participate in technical and economic feasibility studies, proportionate to the scope of the offer.
Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety standards and criteria.
Collaborate with the assigned prevention technician in accident/incident analysis.
Proactively identify any risks that could lead to accidents or incidents, acting as an active participant in the management system: SVG, LVO, etc.
Define and monitor annual quality objectives.
**Candidate Requirements**
* Degree in Industrial Engineering (Senior or Technical Engineer).
* Advanced proficiency in office software and professional-level AutoCAD usage.
* Professional certifications in electricity, HVAC, heating, and domestic hot water systems.
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher is desirable.
* Experience managing profit-and-loss accounts, comprehensive maintenance contract management, and personnel management.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Leadership abilities, proactivity, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum of five years’ experience in similar roles.
