This is a newly created position established to support continued growth of the team alongside the activities of the new center. Below are the key characteristics and responsibilities of this role: **Mission** * Execute post-processing of prototypes using the predominant technologies for manufacturing complex and highly complex aeronautical components: Additive Manufacturing and Investment Casting. * Collaborate with the Technical Team in defining new metal production processes, which—once validated—will be deployed across ITP Aero’s various operational units. * Participate in the development of new technologies internally or in collaboration with Technology Centers. * Support the deployment of developed solutions across other plants within the UOs. * Perform self-inspection and inspection of prototypes using various non-destructive testing techniques. * Operate and perform productive maintenance on equipment. * **Reporting Relationships** * Group Leader * Production Manager * Production Planner * Project Manager * Technologists and Process Engineers * Maintenance Engineer * Maintenance Technician * **Key Responsibilities** 1. Execute all operations—including handling of various equipment and facilities—required to achieve the necessary metallurgical properties, surface finishes, and inspections for Additive Manufacturing and Investment Casting components. These operations include the following workstations: * Automatic and manual blasting * Finishing and rework by finishing * Thermal treatment in dry furnace * Penetrant liquid application * Visual inspection and penetrant liquid inspection * Digital X-ray machine * X-ray inspection * Welding rework (TIG/GMAW/Laser) * Non-contact dimensional measurement and inspection (Blue Light/Hawk portable) Final verification and certification * 2. Collaborate in developing improvements and new solutions for manufacturing processes. 3. Collaborate in drafting new process and/or control sheets for prototype manufacturing. 4. Perform process controls—both on machines (TPM) and on manual processes—as well as self-inspection operations. 6. Collaborate with Maintenance on preventive activities and repair of breakdowns. 7. Train new hires. 8. Maintain order and cleanliness at workstations. **Required Competencies for the Role** The role requires an end-to-end product perspective, enabling a metal post-processing operator at ADMIRE to acquire the competencies needed to accompany a prototype from its initial metal creation phase through to full completion. To achieve this, the candidate will enter an intensive and extensive training program that—combined with personal skills and self-discipline—will enable them to acquire the versatility required to execute any operation needed during the metal post-processing phase.
