We are currently seeking a FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT – DATA GOVERNANCE OFFICE profile for our Madrid Project team. Requirements:* Qualification: Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior), Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related degree in Healthcare. * Experience: At least 2 years of experience in any healthcare area; experience handling data is preferred. * Motivation and interest in the healthcare sector. * Ability to work effectively in teams. * Methodical approach and strong analytical skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels (technical staff, physicians, nursing staff, and/or management). * Proficiency in Office365. * Knowledge and experience with JIRA, the tool used by the Regional Ministry for managing requests. * SQL or PL/SQL knowledge and experience will be considered an asset. Desirable:* Practical and analytical approach to resolving issues affecting request management or problem resolution. * Familiarity with any Hospital Information System (HIS) — e.g., HPHIS, HCIS, Casiopea, Selene, AP-Madrid — or other healthcare information systems (pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, etc.) will be considered an asset. * Familiarity with reporting tools is desirable. * Knowledge of Python and/or Scala is desirable. * Motivation to improve healthcare quality and patient well-being. Ethical handling of sensitive and confidential patient-related information. Focus on achieving efficient outcomes and continuously improving processes. * Knowledge of catalog and master data normalization archetypes. Responsibilities:* As the Technical Office of the Data Governance Unit within the Regional Ministry of Digitalization, one of the main objectives is the proper management — including traceability and status reporting — of all data-related requests submitted to the Ministry. * Participation in relevant meetings where Ministry representatives define priorities. * Participation in project follow-up meetings, including minutes preparation, implementation, and evaluation of technology projects in the healthcare domain. * Identification of process improvement opportunities within the Technical Office through the application of technologies and best practices. * Exploitation of JIRA data.
