At Ormazabal you will find a space to design your future and that of the rest of the world. **JOB DESCRIPTION** Ormazabal is seeking to incorporate, within its Primary Distribution Division located at Boroa Business Park (Amorebieta), a person to lead R&D projects in order to drive technological developments in the field of medium voltage switchgear. This person will manage projects covering the entire development cycle: design, simulation, prototyping, testing and industrialization, both at our factory and in collaboration with strategic suppliers. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Define and plan **development projects** for new medium voltage products from the conceptual phase through to industrialization. Manage project budget and schedule, monitoring deviations and risks. Report regularly on project status to R&D management and other involved departments. 2. Coordinate **multidisciplinary teams** (design, simulation, testing, manufacturing) ensuring technical and timeline alignment. Interact with internal and external customers, gathering requirements and validating solutions. Provide technical advice to other company departments on medium voltage solutions. 3. Supervise the **mechanical and electrical design** of switchgear, ensuring compliance with regulatory and functional requirements. Manage technical simulations (electrical, thermal, mechanical) to validate concepts and optimize solutions. 4. Lead the **prototype manufacturing** process, ensuring representativeness and functionality for testing. Plan and coordinate the Test Plan (type, routine, special) in internal and external laboratories. 5. Lead the **industrialization process**, collaborating with our own factory and external suppliers. Work with the Industrial Department in defining and implementing product customizations. 6. Document technical development and ensure **traceability of decisions and changes**. Ensure compliance with applicable international standards for medium voltage equipment. 7. Participate in the selection and evaluation of **strategic technical suppliers**. Drive continuous improvement in development processes and project management. Collaborate with the Quality Department in product validation and resolution of non-conformities. **REQUIREMENTS** * **Education:** Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with specialization in Electronics and Automation / Electrical. * **Experience:** 2 to 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in industrial or electrical sectors. * **Languages:** English (advanced level). * **Technical knowledge:** \- Medium voltage switchgear, including design, simulation and validation of components; \- Design and simulation tools (2D/3D CAD, mechanical and electromagnetic FEA, Matlab/Simulink); Project planning and monitoring: schedules, costs, resources and risks; \- Interpretation and application of technical standards in product development; \- Industrialization processes, both internal and with external suppliers; \- Document management and traceability of technical development. * **Required competencies:** \- Management of multidisciplinary teams; \- Results-oriented, with ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure; \- Customer orientation; \- Effective communication. **WE OFFER:** Immediate incorporation into a leading organization in its field, experiencing growth and part of a prominent business group.
