Position Overview We are looking for a Trainee to join Edelman’s Associate Practice, initially supporting the Tech team due to urgent business needs and the high\-volume launch of the newly awarded Samsung account. The project begins in early January, and the team requires immediate additional capacity to ensure a strong, timely and well\-coordinated activation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone highly motivated, proactive and eager to learn, who wants to begin their career in PR and communications within a fast\-paced agency environment. We are looking for a versatile profile who can support media relations, reporting, content drafting, research, coordination tasks and the use of AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency. Among other, the main tasks and responsibilities will be: Monitoring, Reporting \& Data Support * Prepare reports, media coverage summaries and weekly dashboards for the Samsung account and other assignments. * Use AI tools to support summarisation, drafting and data organisation. * Assist with administrative tasks, internal coordination and follow\-up actions. Media Relations * Build and update journalist and media lists with accuracy. * Understand the Spanish technology, business and general media landscape. * Support media outreach, coordinate interviews and help monitor published coverage. Content \& Editorial Support * Draft basic materials (notes, Q\&A, briefing docs) under guidance. * Assist in proofreading and ensuring deliverables are clear, accurate and well\-structured. Research \& Insights * Conduct desk research on industry trends, stakeholders, competitors and issues relevant to Samsung and other accounts. * Help transform findings into simple insights that support strategy and recommendations. Project Coordination * Support the Tech team operationally during the Samsung account onboarding. * Prepare meeting notes, track deadlines and ensure smooth internal workflows. * Collaborate with the Associate Practice and other teams when the workload requires it. What we´re looking for * Recent graduate or final\-year student in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations or similar. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * Interest in technology, communications and the media environment. * Curiosity and basic familiarity with AI tools to enhance everyday tasks. * Ability to write clearly in English and Spanish; * A versatile, hands\-on mindset: comfortable switching between writing, researching, reporting and coordinating. * High initiative, learning agility and a strong motivation to grow quickly. * A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute.
