Technical procurement and cost reduction ### **Job Description** Daily rate (TJM): 800 The consultant will intervene across the following areas: * **Maintenance service audit and optimization** + Analyze the current organization, processes, and existing practices. + Identify performance improvement and cost reduction opportunities. + Propose a concrete action plan to modernize and rationalize the service. * **Supplier review and optimization** + Evaluate the performance of existing suppliers (services delivered, responsiveness, cost, reliability). + Renegotiate or restructure contracts with key suppliers. + Identify new opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs. * **Technical procurement and cost reduction** + Lead technical procurement projects (equipment, spare parts, technical services). + Implement procurement strategies to optimize TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). + Collaborate with project and procurement teams to secure supply and reduce budgets. * **Change leadership and support** + Work closely with the maintenance management team and operational staff. + Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of changes. + Support the deployment of new methods, tools, and supplier contracts. ### **Required Profile** * Proven experience in **maintenance project management within industry** (minimum 10 years). * Proficiency in **maintenance processes and continuous improvement methodologies**. * Expertise in **technical procurement and supplier negotiation**. * Ability to critically assess existing practices and drive structural change. * Fluent French and/or English; Spanish is desirable for effective on-site communication. * Availability for an **on-site assignment in Bilbao**.
