Job Summary: BASE Protection Group is seeking a Retail Channel Technical Manager to manage commercial activities and present security products at distributors, integrating into a national sales team. Integration into a national sales team **BASE Protection Group, Portwest Group**, is looking to hire a Retail Channel Technical Manager for Spain. **Responsibilities** * Manage commercial activities together with multi-portfolio Commercial Agents * Present products (BASE safety footwear and ATG protective gloves) at generalist distributors (Industrial Supplies, Hardware Stores, etc.) + Value proposition and in-store presentation of the brands + Technical responses to identified needs + Product/price/service positioning * Integrate into the national sales team + Area Sales Managers + Retail Channel Manager + Multi-portfolio Retail Channel Sales Representatives * Report directly to the Commercial Director of BASE Protection Group **Profile** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in the sector + Knowledge of key distributors + Experience working with multi-portfolio sales teams * Secondary or higher education, preferably with technical and commercial training * Proficiency in office software (Excel, CRM, etc.) * Results-oriented * Open-minded, strong communication skills, initiative, and self-motivation * English and Italian language skills are an advantage * Location: To be determined, preferably Basque Country **Objectives** * Strengthen brand presence in the Retail Channel * Drive sales through the distribution network * Acquire new customers **COMPANY** **AWARDS** * Great Place To Work 2024 * Private Irish Business of the Year – Export Industry Awards 2025 * Silver Ecovadis Sustainability Rating 2025 Applicants must have a right to live and work in the relevant jurisdiction.
