**Dry Area Superintendent – On-site 4x3 Shift \- Zaldívar Mining Company**The purpose of this superintendency is to lead the operational management of the Cathode Dry Area, ensuring that agglomerated, stacked, and reclaimed materials meet or exceed production and development targets set by the plan, with a focus on safety, productivity, and low costs.
Ensure compliance with critical safety controls related to Dry Area operations, and support key Dry Area decisions based on associated risks.
**Key challenges:**
* Manage and control the proper identification and management of area-related risks.
* Ensure correct implementation of production plans and sustainably optimize production processes.
* Manage crushing, agglomeration, and stacking processes.
* Monitor consumption of acid, energy, water, and other reagents.
* Manage tailings handling processes.
* Ensure proper operation of area control systems, communication systems, and infrastructure.
* Manage and administer contracts under your responsibility.
* Provide input and participate in planning short-, medium-, and long-term development plans.
Support Management in formulating, monitoring, and approving CAPEX projects and OPEX initiatives.

**Application requirements:**
* Professional degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Cathode Plant operations.
* Experience in crushing, agglomeration, stacking, and tailings management.
* Knowledge of short- and long-term planning and process management, KPIs, and cost management.
* Experience leading work teams.
* Valid Class B driver’s license with at least 3 years of validity (Mandatory).
* Availability to work on-site under a 4x3 shift schedule at the Antofagasta Region site.
