




Job Summary: We are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to manage procurement activities, ensuring proper issuance, tracking, and confirmation of purchase orders as well as material availability. Collaborate on optimizing purchasing processes Quaker Houghton BARCELONA, a multinational leader in industrial fluids, is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to manage daily procurement activities, guaranteeing accurate issuance, tracking, and confirmation of purchase orders, as well as ensuring availability of materials required for company operations. This role may be based either at the Santa Perpetua plant or the Barberà del Vallès plant. Responsibilities * Manage creation, confirmation, tracking, and closure of purchase orders within the ERP system. * Verify supplier acknowledgments to ensure correct quantities, prices, and delivery dates. * Proactively monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and ensure continuous material supply. * Maintain regular communication with suppliers to resolve issues, delays, or discrepancies. * Maintain and update purchasing data in the ERP system: items, suppliers, prices, agreements, etc. * Prepare reports and records related to purchase orders, incidents, and supplier performance. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce manual tasks, and increase automation. * Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental procedures.
