You define us—you make SGS. **Job Description** At **SGS**, the world’s leading company in inspection, verification, testing, and certification, we continue to grow and are seeking to hire a **Regulatory Mechanical OCA Inspector** to join our specialized team in regulatory inspection and control. If you have experience inspecting industrial equipment and installations and wish to advance your career in a technical environment—handling high-level projects and maintaining direct client contact—this may be your opportunity. What will be your mission? You will conduct **regulatory inspections and technical controls** on industrial equipment and installations, verifying compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and ensuring the safety and reliability of such installations. What will you do on a daily basis? * Conduct **Mechanical OCA regulatory inspections**. * Calibration and verification of **safety valves**. * Performing and supervising **pressure tests** on equipment and installations. * Supervising and controlling **welding tests and examinations**. * Monitoring and managing processes for **welder qualification and certification**. * Reviewing and preparing technical files associated with installations and equipment. * Reviewing technical documentation and conformity certificates. * Reviewing and preparing documentation related to the **CE marking**. * Identifying and managing potential non-compliances or non-conformities. * Preparing inspection reports and minutes. * Managing and communicating with clients during inspection activities. * Tracking regulatory requirements and updating practices in response to regulatory changes. **Requirements** What are we looking for in you? * Technical education, preferably: + Industrial Engineering. + Mechanical Engineering. + Naval Engineering. * Minimum two years’ prior experience in regulatory inspection, quality control, or industrial environments. * Knowledge of pressure equipment, welding, and industrial regulations. * Ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. **Additional Information** **What will you find at SGS?** * A multinational company, a sector leader operating across virtually all industrial sectors. * SGS employees consistently rate our positive work environment as the most valued aspect. * We provide technical and skills-based training to support continued professional growth. * We offer a Flexible Compensation Plan and special discounts for SGS personnel. * We are a sustainable company actively engaged in addressing social issues. * We are committed to equality and diversity within our teams.
