WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPIST TO JOIN OUR TEAM Clinical and therapeutic area * Initial and periodic functional assessment (mobility, balance, strength, gait, pain). * Prevention and treatment of **musculoskeletal disorders** (osteoarthritis, muscle spasms, stiffness). * Gait re-education and balance training. * Treatment of **neurological conditions** (stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementias). * Maintenance of mobility in bedridden individuals. * Chronic pain management. * Respiratory therapy (prevention of infections, improvement of ventilation). * Fall prevention and management. Complication prevention * Prevention of **pressure ulcers** through postural changes and mobilizations. * Prevention of joint stiffness and muscle atrophy. * Postural education and ergonomics. Health promotion area * **Group or individual therapeutic exercise programs**. * Activities to promote autonomy in activities of daily living. * Stimulation of mobility and coordination. * Promotion of age- and condition-appropriate active lifestyle habits. Interdisciplinary team work * Coordination with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers. * Participation in clinical meetings and development of individualized care plans. * Guidance to auxiliary staff on safe mobilization techniques. Educational and advisory area * Education for residents and families on exercises and fall prevention. * Training for center staff on mobilization and transfer techniques. * Recommendation and adaptation of assistive devices (walkers, canes, wheelchairs). Management and documentation * Recording of progress notes and therapeutic goals. * Outcome evaluation and treatment adjustment. * Compliance with center protocols and regulations.
