Join our team and discover how, together, we can contribute today to the mining industry of the future. **Mine Operator IV \- 7x7 Day/Night Shift \- Zaldívar Mining Company (Fixed-term Contract for 6 Months)** This role is responsible for operating the Caex Komatsu 830 E/AC equipment owned by Zaldívar Mining, with primary focus on this specific model. The mine operator must fully integrate into their operational practice the company’s safety and self-care guidelines. Additionally, they must strive to meet defined production targets, thereby contributing to the company’s development. This position falls under the Operations Management division, specifically within the Loading, Transport, and Auxiliary Equipment Superintendent’s area, and reports directly to the Mine Shift Supervisor. **Your key responsibilities will include:** * Operating the company’s Komatsu 830E/AC haul trucks to extract material generated by blasting and deliver it to destinations specified by planning. * Complying with safety standards and regulations, reporting unsafe conditions or actions, taking timely corrective action, and informing supervision of such incidents per established procedures, to prevent accidents that could compromise your own safety or that of your coworkers. * Achieving planned equipment utilization and maintaining equipment in good condition, upholding production standards while minimizing maintenance and repair costs. Ensuring proper equipment operation. * **What requirements must you meet?** * High school diploma (4th year of secondary education completed). * Minimum two years of experience operating Komatsu 830 E/AC equipment. * Desirable experience operating support equipment such as: Bulldozer D 375 A, Excavator PC 600, Motor Grader Caterpillar 16 M. * Valid Class B driver’s license with a minimum of three years’ validity — mandatory requirement. * Valid Class D driver’s license with a minimum of three years’ validity — mandatory requirement. * Experience operating in open-pit mining operations. * Availability to work 100% on-site in rotating 7x7 shifts in Antofagasta.
