For this project, we are seeking professionals to fill vacancies for **MECHANICAL WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR FOR INDUSTRIAL VEHICLES** with one of our international transportation-sector clients currently undergoing expansion. Vacancy Location: **Esparraguera.** **Responsibilities** * **Supervise and coordinate** daily workshop activities, ensuring proper planning, organization, and execution of maintenance and repair work. * **Lead, motivate, and develop the technical team**, ensuring appropriate task allocation, compliance with established procedures, and achievement of operational objectives. * Manage workshop **human resources**, including shift scheduling, vacation coordination, workload assignment, and team performance monitoring. * Ensure compliance with applicable **regulations**, company policies, procedures, and quality standards. * Guarantee compliance with **Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP)** regulations, promoting a safety culture and best practices in the workplace. * Monitor workshop **productivity**, verifying accurate time recording, completion of assigned tasks, and adherence to established deadlines. * Supervise and validate **activity records** and technical staff working hours using corporate tools. * **Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)** to identify deviations, propose improvement actions, and optimize workshop operational efficiency. * Maintain **fluid and professional communication** with clients, addressing inquiries, managing incidents, and ensuring high service satisfaction levels. * Collaborate in budget preparation and monitoring, as well as associated **administrative management** for workshop activities. * Routinely use **IT and management tools**, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), corporate digital platforms, tablets, and operational control applications. * **Prepare communications, reports, and technical or administrative documentation** required for the area’s proper functioning. * Promote **continuous process improvement**, identifying optimization opportunities in organization, productivity, and service quality. REQUIREMENTS **Required Education** * Higher Vocational Training qualification, preferably in fields related to **Automotive Engineering, Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or similar**. * Technical or management degrees will also be considered if accompanied by relevant experience in **automotive workshop or after-sales environments**. * Knowledge of **Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP)**. * Advanced user level of **office software** (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office suite). **Desirable Education** * Additional training in **leadership**, team management, or operations coordination. * Training in Lean Management, continuous improvement, or **process management**. * Specific training in workshop management, after-sales, or vehicle maintenance. * Courses related to quality, safety, and occupational health. **Required Experience** * Prior experience in supervisory, coordination, or operational team management roles. * Experience in the automotive sector, after-sales, vehicle maintenance, or repair. * Experience in industrial vehicles, heavy machinery, transportation, or related sectors is valued but not mandatory. **Other Requirements** * Personal vehicle recommended for commuting to the workplace. * Languages: Native Spanish. Catalan and other languages are advantageous. **We Offer** * Position created due to company expansion. * Permanent contract. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week. Afternoon shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM). * Base salary between €30,000 and €35,000 gross per year, paid in 14 installments. * Career development path toward Workshop Manager position. * Company mobile phone. * Laptop. * Social benefits: * Optional medical insurance, with the company covering 50% of the premium for employee, spouse/partner, and children. * Meal voucher card equivalent to €1,600 net per year. * Optional pension plan, where the company contributes double the amount contributed by the employee (subject to a cap).
