Job Summary: Perform comprehensive visual examinations, diagnose refractive errors, prescribe visual aids, and apply vision therapy to improve ocular health and patients' quality of life. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive evaluation of ocular health and visual acuity. 2. Diagnosis and correction of refractive errors. 3. Application of vision therapy and patient counseling. * Perform comprehensive visual examinations to assess ocular health and visual acuity. * Detect, diagnose, and correct refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. * Prescribe, fit, and verify proper use of eyeglasses and contact lenses. * Implement vision therapy programs to treat conditions including amblyopia, strabismus, focusing difficulties, and visual coordination disorders. * Counsel patients on care, usage, and maintenance of visual aids, as well as prevention of ocular problems. * Identify abnormalities or signs of ocular diseases and refer to an ophthalmologist when necessary. * Ensure professional, patient-centered care aimed at improving visual health and quality of life.
