Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant for a hotel, responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunities for professional growth within the chain. CATALONIA HOTELS & RESORTS is currently recruiting a MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT to join our BARCELONA PLAZA hotel. Main responsibilities include: * Performing preventive maintenance according to the quality manual; completing the corresponding form. * Following corrective maintenance procedures as specified in the quality manual. * Repairing and/or supervising malfunctions; verifying that issues have been fully resolved. * Carrying out the legionella prevention process; completing the relevant records. * Ensuring all facilities comply with current regulations. * Maintaining and preserving hotel facilities and furniture in optimal condition. * Assessing the condition of facilities and reporting findings to the hotel manager and maintenance supervisor. REQUIREMENTS * Lifeguard certification is considered a plus. * Prior experience in a similar position. * Technical education plus installer certifications. * Technical knowledge (electricity, gas, water, etc.). * Commitment, rigor, and dedication.
