CATALONIA HOTELS, an expanding hotel chain, is seeking a MAINTENANCE MANAGER for one of our hotels in Barcelona. The main responsibilities include: * Planning department tasks and schedules. * Recruiting, training, directing, and supervising the performance of the team under your responsibility. * Planning and performing preventive maintenance according to the quality manual. * Completing the corresponding form for this purpose. * Following corrective maintenance procedures as outlined in the quality manual. * Early detection of risks: especially in fire safety systems. * Repairing and supervising malfunctions; verifying that malfunctions have been resolved. * Responsibility for the legionella prevention process and its implementation. * Completing the corresponding records. * Ensuring facilities comply with current regulations. * Responsibility for directing the emergency plan. * Maintaining and preserving hotel facilities and furniture in perfect condition. * Diagnosing the condition of facilities and reporting to the hotel director. * Promoting and implementing energy-saving and efficiency measures. * Inventory and spare parts control, subject to management approval. REQUIREMENTS * Experience in a similar position. * Technical education + installer certifications. * Technical knowledge (electricity, gas, water, etc.). * Commitment, rigor, and dedication.
