Independently manage teams and on-site activities We are looking for a competent and practical Site Manager to lead on-site construction of a high-end luxury villa in Barcelona. If you do not currently reside there, relocation will be required. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between our remote design and project management teams and daily on-site progress. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction meets our high quality standards, adheres to approved drawings and specifications, and remains within established timelines and budget. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented individual with confidence to independently manage teams and on-site activities — someone who assumes responsibility and ensures delivery reflects the level of excellence expected by our clients. **Responsibilities:** * Site Oversight: Supervise all on-site activities, ensuring full compliance with local construction regulations, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Conduct periodic site inspections and proactively address any safety or quality issues. Ensure on-site construction follows approved drawings, designs, and specifications. * Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Head of Construction to execute the construction plan, manage schedules, allocate resources, and oversee material procurement. * Quality Excellence: Maintain high quality control standards, ensuring all work reflects the level of detail and craftsmanship defined in the design. * Budget Control: Monitor on-site construction costs to ensure alignment with the approved budget, identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. * Team Leadership: Coordinate subcontractors, skilled labor, and on-site teams to maintain consistent workflow, proactively address challenges, and foster a collaborative environment. Act as interim Head of Construction when required, including attending meetings and participating in key decisions. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of on-site activities, progress reports, and site conditions, and provide clear, regular updates to the management team. Serve as the primary point of contact between the site and the global project team, including the Head of Construction. **Requirements** * Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture and/or postgraduate studies in Construction Management or related fields * Experience: Minimum of 10 years in site roles (e.g., Inspector, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Site Supervisor, Assistant Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Manager). * Completion of at least 3 full-cycle projects in Spain, ideally in tourist areas * Demonstrable experience in luxury villa construction or high-end residential projects * Ability to provide clear examples of resolving technical or logistical challenges during previous construction projects * Proficiency in construction software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant applications * Solid knowledge of local regulations, standards, and construction practices necessary for successful execution * Intermediate level of English **Benefits** * Full-time, on-site position in Barcelona (Pedralbes), Spain * Relocation support within Spain provided * Opportunity to work on an iconic luxury hospitality project, from construction phase through handover * Collaboration within a professional, international, and multidisciplinary team
