Description

The position involves driving buses for a transportation company. The work focuses on passenger transport in a non-scheduled service, ensuring a safe and efficient journey. The driver will operate vehicles provided by the company, following established routes and adhering to all scheduled timetables. The primary responsibility is to guarantee passengers' comfort and safety during the journey. Responsibilities include driving responsibly, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and maintaining tachograph records. It is essential to maintain a professional, service-oriented attitude while attending to passengers' needs. Driving will be adapted to a variable service, requiring flexible working hours to cover different shifts throughout the week. The work environment demands punctuality, route accuracy, and courteous interaction with the public. This role requires strict compliance with traffic regulations and the company's internal policies. The driver must perform vehicle inspections before and after each service, report incidents, and ensure bus cleanliness. Success in this position relies on reliability and commitment to road safety, as well as the ability to handle everyday situations arising during transport. The company provides all necessary resources to carry out these duties. A valid Category D driving license, along with a current Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP) and a valid tachograph card, are mandatory. Prior experience in passenger transport is desirable but not exclusive if the candidate demonstrates a positive attitude and strong service orientation. Residence in Canet de Mar or its surrounding area is required to facilitate attendance at work. We seek a customer-focused individual capable of handling passenger interactions professionally. Knowledge of English is considered an advantage but is not mandatory for hiring.
