DESCRIPTION **About Lucta** At Lucta, we are seeking a **Shift Supervisor** for our *Feed Additives* plant in Montornès del Vallès. As Shift Supervisor, you will join the Production team and serve as the operational reference during your shift, coordinating the plant’s and team’s daily activities to meet the production plan according to established standards of safety, quality, sustainability, and efficiency. We seek a candidate with experience in industrial environments who combines strong operational organization skills with close, firm people management—especially within a dynamic and evolving production environment. **What will you do in this position?** As Shift Supervisor, you will coordinate plant operations during your shift, organizing the team and available resources to ensure compliance with the production plan and respond effectively to day-to-day needs. Your key responsibilities will include: * **Coordinate shift activities**, organizing personnel and required resources to meet the production plan. * **Monitor production**, identify deviations, and manage incidents or unforeseen events arising during the shift. * **Coordinate and support the team**, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing necessary support and feedback. * **Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards** regarding safety, quality, food safety, and environmental protection. * **Maintain smooth communication** with the team, Plant Manager, and other shifts to ensure operational continuity. * **Contribute to continuous improvement of the plant**, identifying opportunities for enhancement in safety, quality, productivity, organization, and environmental performance. This is a role with significant people management and daily decision-making components, where you will play a key role in maintaining safe, orderly, and efficient operations—and actively engaging the team in the plant’s continuous improvement. REQUIREMENTS **Education** * Higher Vocational Training qualification or university degree related to chemistry, industry, or production fields. Occupational Health and Safety training will be valued. * **Experience and knowledge** * Experience in industrial or production environments, especially in team coordination and daily operational management. * Experience working in shift-based systems. * Knowledge of safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
